NEW PODCAST MINISERIES HIGHLIGHTS WOMEN VOICES OF THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL

This new podcast miniseries will bring a new focus to the thousands of women who have built, hiked on and been inspired by the Appalachian Trail (A.T.). “Where We Walk: Stories of the Appalachian Trail,” is a special six-part series developed by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) in collaboration with She Explores Podcast and made possible with a grant from REI. This groundbreaking miniseries explores the women who have helped make the Trail what it is today, as well as those who are shaping its future.

You can experience “Where We Walk” starting on September 21 by subscribing to She Explores Podcast on Apple PodcastsSpotify, Stitcher or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Green Mountain Club & Appalachian Trail Conservancy's Wild East Women are teaming up to host a paint night on Earth Day! Join GMC Field Staff Kati Christoffel as she leads us in a watercolor painting of a red eft (eastern newt). Hiking trails are dotted with red efts throughout spring and they are a friendly reminder of all that goes on underfoot. We look forward to having you join and create your very own red eft painting!
